HISTORY OF HYATTSVILLE DOOR
Hyattsville Door and Lock was started in November of 2003 by Chris Leech. We began as a home based operation in Hyattsville, MD with one full time employee. Hard work, dedication to customer service, and attention to detail (along with the support of our customer base) allowed us to move in August 2004 to a 2000 sq. ft. Office / Warehouse location in Landover, MD.
In April 2005 we added Kim Leech as our 2nd full time employee. From 2004 to 2006 our business quadrupled, which meant that 2,000 sq. ft. was not nearly enough space anymore. In June 2007 we added Adam Leech as our 3rd full time employee and moved to a 5,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Jessup, MD.
On 4-1-09 our name changed to Hyattsville Door & Frame, Inc.
In February of 2011 Nick Newell was added as our 4th full time employee. With this newest addition to our staff, we are all excited about now being able to provide even better customer service and support than what we have been known for since we started back in 2003.
